Jimmy MacMillan joined The Peninsula Chicago as Executive
Pastry Chef in October 2006. MacMillan is responsible for all of the
dessert, pastry and bakery operations for Avenues, Shanghai Terrace,
and Pierrot Gourmet and The Lobby restaurants. Prior to joining The Peninsula
Chicago, MacMillan was The Executive Pastry Chef for the opening of the
Conrad Hotel in Indianapolis, The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa in Houston,
TX and designed and opened the state of the art pastry show kitchen at
The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. He developed his culinary and management
style at the Four Seasons Olympic Hotel Seattle and The Four Seasons
Hotel Austin. |
